What does net zero mean? Glad you asked.
22/02/2021

Net zero refers to achieving a balance between the amount of greenhouse gas produced and the amount removed from the atmosphere. We reach net zero when the amount we add is no more than the amount taken away.
So to become a net zero company, all the CO2 you emit through manufacturing, delivery, building costs, etc., must be matched and removed from the atmosphere. If your company produces four tonnes of CO2 in a year, you must commit to removing four tonnes of CO2, thereby making your company a ‘net zero’ company.
