Environmental Plan & Support for VCUK

We helped VINCI Building (VCUK), a major building contractor, to develop a Corporate Environmental Strategy to source more responsibly and utilise existing data for better waste management. As part of the Corporate Environmental Strategy, we produced a GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Corporate Report covering Scopes 1 to 3 and guidance to set a Science-Based Target. 

VINCI Building's parent company in France had issued a Sustainability Plan that it wanted all subsidiary companies to comply with. The client also wanted guidance from experts that understood the sustainability in the building context on how to implement the plan. They also wanted to know where it stood in relation to their competitor's sustainability targets and UK building industry and government sustainability targets.

We wrote an Environmental Plan that addressed each target in the parent company's targets and set UK competitive targets alongside them. Most of the parent company's targets lacked articulation or competitiveness against the UK industry. Element Four also provided ongoing support to implement the targets set out in the plan.
