Since changing career track in 2006 to focus on sustainability and construction, Adam’s driving ambition has been to create change at scale. He draws on his experience as accredited change management practitioner (APMG) and strategic facilitator to work with those at the vanguard; supporting, challenging, innovating and telling a story that bridges the gap to the early majority.
As Sustainability Manager for the Bicester Village Shopping Collection, which owns and operates a number of luxury brand outlet shopping centres across Europe and China, Adam led the delivery of policy, training and resource management initiatives. In 2020, the business achieved a 5-star GRESB rating for the first time.
A great personal milestone came in 2012. After years of advising clients and contractors what features and specifications to invest in to achieve high BREEAM ratings and Passivhaus certification, Adam finally put his money where his mouth was and built his own low-energy house. He has lived there with his family ever since.
